This feedback is presented by Frédéric Haumonté, who carried out the training for an international group employing 6800 people, one of the world leaders in original equipment for the automotive industry.
“Group HR contacted me in May with a request to plan a training action for project managers, mostly engineers or senior technicians from 2 B.U. (Filtration & Air&Cooling) attached to R&D. Then, at the beginning of June, we stepped up the pace to enter the FNE scheme. The demand is very much focused on soft skills: improving your leadership as a project manager, i.e. in a non-hierarchical position.”
I’ve done this type of face-to-face training many times before, but this time the challenge was to transpose it to distance learning. No easy task. I’ll explain the pedagogical choices I made, the few keys to success I identified and also the lessons learned from the things that didn’t work so well.
