Jean-Jacques Felix
Jean-Jacques helps managers draw on the intelligence of their teams.
He immerses himself in his customers’ logic to design transformation paths to serve their objectives, in close interaction with managers. Using serious games, he facilitates collective decision-making on high-stakes issues. His approach is constructivist in the sense that he bets on people’s intelligence, and on their ability to organize and regulate their practices to concretize the meaning of their work.
He coaches managers and executives on how to exercise their management and leadership. He focuses on making the link between managerial values and concepts, and their practical meaning in real work.
The diversity of his experience makes him able to quickly understand the environment in which he operates. He has worked in over 200 organizations as a consultant, coach, auditor or trainer. He has worked for Belgian federal, regional and local authorities, primary, secondary and university education, the social economy, numerous SMEs and a number of large private companies, including Belgian chocolate makers. 15 years of emergency medical aid as a volunteer ambulance driver in Brussels gave him experience of how managerial decisions impact work at grassroots level, and this influences his work with managers.
He has been selected by the Association of Master Trainers in the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY® Method as one of 16 trainers worldwide, and is co-author of scientific publications on dissensus.
Since 2020, to reconnect with ancestral know-how in Hainaut, he has been a farmer, managing 5 hectares of high-stem orchards of ancient varieties, a stone’s throw from a town center.
He has a master’s degree in law, obtained in Belgium at Namur in French and Leuven in Dutch, and in Germany at Bayreuth in German. He also has a DEA in Biology obtained in Belgium at the Université Catholique de Louvain.
He regularly works in French and English. He occasionally works in Dutch and German.
