Jean-Gabriel Kern
Jean-Gabriel Kern, in two words, is to edify and clarify.
“Sparring-partner”, he helps managers:
- explain their intuitions and mature the directions they need to take;
- build a collective aligned around a shared vision;
- strengthen alignment with their middle management.
He most often accompanies his clients at pivotal moments (handover, change, high tensions). His ability to connect with the leader’s intuitions and his talent for sensing a team’s points of fragility help him build robust working arrangements.
With a Master’s degree in Fundamental Ethics (PUSC, Rome, 2003), he has retained from this academic career a passion for history and philosophy.
Priest for six years, he was confronted with highly engaging human situations. There he cultivated his taste for accompaniment in difficult moments, with a concern for authenticity.
Trained as a coach in 2008, he began coaching management teams with Cabinet Mediator International (Paris). At the same time, he gained hands-on experience working with front-line managers in industry, transport and retail. This “stereo” apprenticeship is reflected today in his preoccupation with bringing the head closer to the field.
At La Boétie Partner, he leads the “Vision, Visioning, Visionnaire” practice (https://visionvisioningvisionnaire.com) and participates in the “Leadership Development” practice. He regularly publishes on these subjects.
Jean-Gabriel is the author, with Thibault Vignes, of Bâtir une vision. Outils et repères pour donner un cap à votre entreprise (Diateino, 2021).
He works in French, Italian and English.
