October 1, 2020 saw the release of our book co-written by 27 practitioners following the upheaval experienced in our animation practices. This book is surprisingly still relevant today, as this period opened up a world of possibilities in terms of collective time modalities: today, it’s common to bring together employees from all over the world more often, as travel is no longer systematically necessary.
The processes described are far from all revolutionary, yet this book shares the keys to remote animation: What are the fundamentals? Which practice to choose? How to bring presence where there is distance?

4th cover:
Whether undergone or chosen, remote working is shaking up our habits and questioning the way we work. When it comes to remote management, the discomfort is even greater: how do you mobilize a team with videoconferencing as the only tool? How can we get a team to commit and trust each other without relying on proximity, non-verbal communication and informal time? And what about coaching and the precious alliance built in physical space?
The questions are many, the fruit of a subtle mix of beliefs, fears and real or supposed technical obstacles.
Whether you’re leading a team or interacting one-to-one, whether you’re a manager, facilitator, trainer or coach, this book will help you give distance learning its rightful place and rethink your practices to ensure the power of your interventions. You’ll find plenty of advice and testimonials, and over thirty practices described in detail. We’ve tried and tested them all, both with each other and with our customers.
They are the culmination of our experiences and learning during confinement and beyond, via the collective we’ve built around this site http://www.animeradistance.com.
